Using Sea Mammals As Soldiers In the War Agaisnt Terror

The United States Navy, out of Washington state, has discovered a way to use California sea lions and Atlantic bottle nose dolphins in the fight against terror. A U.S. spokesman announced yesterday that the mammals will be used to detect underwater attackers and to relay information back in order to save lives. Each mammal has a specific task or tasks when dealing with these "special forces." The dolphins detect underground mines and when spotting humans they are commanded to drop locating beacons in order to determine the intruders activity. The sea lions are used to clamp cuffs with ropes attached to them so that the Navy can "reel" the individual in for questioning. The Navy has been training mammals such as these since 1960, but they stated that the testing has finally started to "iron out all the kinks." Some animals such as horses, elephants, and dogs have been used throughout the worlds history during warfare, I guess that sea mammals will just be the most technologically advanced.
